Neo Eccleston's own goal gave Kidderminster the lead ten minutes before half-time at Aggborough. Callum Stewart sealed the win for the hosts with a late header, assisted by Ethan Moore, in the 85th minute.
The loss is Hartlepool's fourth in their last five league outings, a sequence that reads LLWLL. They now sit seven points behind leaders Boreham Wood in the early-season standings.
