Hartlepool Star Adam Shreddy Leads W3L Return to Stockton
Adam "Shreddy" Foster, the Hartlepool-based wrestler who has performed for TNA Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling, will headline the World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) event at Queens Campus Sports Centre in Stockton on Friday, August 28. The 300-lb Canadian wrestler Tim Strange will be his opponent in a strength-versus-strength contest that promises a dramatic showdown.
Card Highlights and International Talent
The six-match card includes a championship bout presented by Dropkick Championship Wrestling. Reigning champion Martin Kirby will defend his title against local wrestler Spawn. Other confirmed participants are Scottish fan favourite “Irn” Drew Marshall, Pakistan’s Saqib Ali, and the event’s main attraction, Shreddy, who is also a former Mr Britain titleholder and NABBA World Champion. Shreddy will later compete for the NABBA Universe Championship in November.
Ticketing and Production Details
General admission tickets are priced at £12, while family tickets for four cost £44. A limited number of £5 bench seats and ringside tickets are also available. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the first bell scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The match will be filmed for W3L Wrestling Showdown, the longest-running weekly wrestling broadcast on YouTube. Tickets can be purchased through the W3L Wrestling website.
